What You'll Do
- Triage patients, assess vital signs, and collect specimens
- Assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, sigmoidoscopies, and colposcopies
- Administer medications and immunizations; insert catheters and monitor IVs
- Respond to emergencies and provide patient education
- Maintain clinic equipment within established protocols
What You'll Need
- Associate degree; graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program with NCLEX-PN passage
- Current unrestricted LPN license in any U.S. state or territory
- BLS certification
- Minimum two years full-time LPN experience, including one year outpatient and two years hospital experience
